on the day before valentine’s day this year, my two friends (one male and one female) decided to do a social experiment. they posted the exact same status on facebook and left it up for five minutes, before taking a screenshot to see what reaction they got. I think the pictures speak for themselves.
Ke$ha is a perfect example of how the media loves to make intelligent girls seem dumb and bitchy even though they are actually smart and caring. Ke$ha isn’t far from being a feminist icon but the media continues to label her as a dumb drunk party girl.
and Ke$ha is all for loving yourself and equality but she continues to receive harassment from mainstream media. Enough harassment to the point that she developed an eating disorder because of it. She is an example of how horrible and sexist the music industry is.
tips to write college papers
- begin with “buckle your seatbelts, motherfuckers, because in eight short pages i am going to learn u a thing that i only learned myself about two hours ago, so sit down, shut up, and enjoy the experience of my 4-am-redbull-induced-self-hatred-fuelled-writing-extravaganza”
- erase when finished with the paper
BUT THIS ACTUALLY WORKS
MAKE SURE YOU ERASE IT THOUGH
“I was terrified and would you mind if I
sat next to you and watched you smile?
So many kids but I only see you
And I don’t think you notice me
Well, I’ve seen your boyfriend
and I don’t think he treats you right
But that’s none of my business, is it?”
Degrees of Emotion
It annoys me to no end when people have a bad day and talk about how “depressed" they are. So, I made some emotional scales. These show the extremes of emotions and the most minimal state of the emotion.
he was a boy, she was a girl, could i make it anymore heteronormative
he was a “lost soul”, she was “not like other girls”, what more can I say
maybe “By John Green”?
